Voting is the simplest way to support your favorite Minecraft server. Every vote pushes the server higher in the monthly ranking, helps other players discover it, and on many servers it also gives you a reward in the game.
Voting in three steps
- Open the vote page of the server you want to support.
- Choose Java or Bedrock and enter your exact nick, with the same capital letters you use in the game.
- Click Vote. A short invisible bot check runs in the background and your vote is received immediately.
Java and Bedrock players
Java players enter their Minecraft account name. We check with Mojang that the name exists, so a typo does not send your reward to somebody else.
Bedrock players (phone, tablet, console, Windows) enter their Xbox gamertag exactly as it appears in the game, spaces included. Servers that let Bedrock players join through Geyser and Floodgate add a short prefix to Bedrock names, usually a dot. We add the prefix of that server for you and turn spaces into underscores, so Big Steve becomes .Big_Steve. The Bedrock switch appears only on servers that accept Bedrock players.
Frequently asked questions
How often can I vote?
You can vote once per server per day. A new day starts at 00:00 UTC, which is 1:00 in Central Europe in winter and 2:00 in summer. The vote page shows the exact time in your own time zone and counts down to your next vote. You may vote for as many different servers as you like.
Do I need an account?
No. You only need your nick. If you tick Remember my nick on this device, MineList fills it in next time on every server.
How do I get my reward?
If the server has connected MineList through NuVotifier or a webhook, we send your vote to the server straight away and the vote page shows when the server confirms it. The server then gives you its reward, for example in-game money, crates or items. Rewards are set by each server, not by MineList. Some servers check votes themselves through our API; then join the game and follow the server's instructions. If you are offline at that moment, many servers store the reward and hand it over when you join.
I voted but received nothing
Check that your nick and edition are correct, join the server and wait a minute. If the reward still does not arrive, ask the server staff. They can see in their logs whether the vote reached them.
Can I get a reminder?
Yes. After voting, click Remind me tomorrow and allow notifications in your browser. We send one notification when you can vote again. On iPhone, add MineList to your Home Screen first. You can turn reminders off on any vote page.
What are streaks and player ranks?
Voting for the same server on consecutive days builds a streak. One missed day per week does not break it. Every counted vote also moves you up the player ranks Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond and Netherite. The best voters of the month appear on the voters leaderboard.
How the ranking works
The list is sorted by votes received this month. On the 1st of every month at 00:00 UTC the monthly counter starts again from zero, so even a small server can reach the top with a loyal community.
- Servers marked featured are paid promotion and are shown at the top. They do not get extra votes and their vote counts are never changed.
- A server that has been offline for more than 3 hours moves below the servers that are online. A short outage does not change its position.
- When two servers have the same number of votes, the server that links to MineList goes first, then the one with more votes last month.
Which votes do not count in the ranking
Every accepted vote goes to the server and you still get your reward. These votes are not counted in the ranking, leaderboards and streaks:
- votes from VPNs, proxies, data centers and Tor (Apple iCloud Private Relay is fine),
- the 21st and every further vote from one internet connection on the same day,
- votes that MineList cancels after finding cheating.
Rules
- One vote per player per server per day. Do not vote with other people's nicks.
- No bots, scripts or vote buying and selling, and no VPNs to get around the limit.
- Servers must not require voting to play and must not give real money prizes or gambling rewards (Minecraft rules).
When we find cheating, we stop counting the votes or pause counting for the whole server, and repeated cheating means removal from the list.
Can I change a vote?
No. A vote cannot be withdrawn or moved to another server. Come back tomorrow and vote again.
